I’m an engineer and founder, interested in the intersection of internet and culture. My current industry is crypto.
Why crypto?
I’ve been writing about Bitcoin since 2013, when I was in highschool. I truely believe in the mission of verifiable institutions, and Hayek’s rationale for decentralization - the ultimate decisions must be left to the people who are familiar with their circumstances.
That being said, I haven’t always worked in crypto. I did my thesis on Machine Learning and have a broad interested in distributed systems.
What have I worked on?
I built a product called Dappnet, which reached 1M+ people on Twitter and was covered by The Block and a number of other outlets. Read more about it here.
People I’ve worked with:
With these teams, I’ve directly helped develop smart contracts which have processed over $500M of value, such as Synthetix’s EtherWrapper, perpetuals markets and the core contracts of tBTC v1.
My current goals:
- Pursue the thing 2x bigger than my last. Focus on more longer-term projects. Why? Because it’s challenging.
- Cultivate an interesting public library of content. Why? Because it’s important.
- Learn mathematics (through physics). Why? Because it’s beautiful.
Writing.
I am a mixture of a researcher and a hacker. I like to deeply understand things, which often stems from a deep need to solve a problem. Here are some selected posts people enjoy:
